  1.                         THE LOG BOOK MANAGER

  4. The  LOG  BOOK  MANAGER  (LBM)  is  a log book management system which
  5. utilizes the power of your computer to maintain your  log  books.  LBM
  6. files,  timestamps,  indexes, searches, and allows you to set reminder
  7. dates so that an entry may be tagged for viewing at a later date.  LBM
  8. also  provides  the  option  of printing sections of your log by index
  9. topic,  date  range,  all  occurrences  of  a  given  keyword,  or   a
  10. combination of these.

  12. LBM  is  an  excellent  choice  for  keeping  any kind of equipment or
  13. activity logs.  The ability to subdivide the log  entries  into  index
  14. categories   allows   you   to   better   organize   your  log,  while
  15. simultaneously  maintaining  chronological  recordkeeping.   LBM  will
  16. maintain as many separate logs as you need.

  18. The SAMPLE.* files should be copied along with LBM.EXE to your working
  19. directory. These files provide you with a ready made  "LOG"  file  for
  20. you to use. This "LOG" contains information about THE LOG BOOK MANAGER
  21. and may answer some of your questions about the use of this program.

  23. Documentation is provided in the file LBM.DOC. This file includes  all
  24. of the information you will need to use THE LOG BOOK MANAGER. Remember
  25. that THE LOG BOOK MANAGER is a SHAREWARE product, so please  read  the
  26. documentation concerning the use and registration of this product.
